Piers Ottey Studio Director
Originally from London, Piers moved to Sussex twenty years ago. He studied painting at Chelsea School of Art. Most of his work stems from the figure or landscape, and more recently travels to Greece, Spain and Denmark have been at the root of his work.He has exhibited locally and in London as well as abroad and his work is in private and corporate collections in England, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Canada and the U.S.A. Stig Evans
Stig lives in Brighton having spent three years painting and teaching in Venezuela. He has also worked in Italy and has exhibited in New York, Venezuela, Italy and England. His drawings, oils and watercolours are firmly based on observation and are highly individual. With a background in conservation, Stig is also concerned with the techniques and technicalities of oil painting.
Christopher McHugh
Christopher McHugh studied painting at Bath Academy and Manchester University. He lives and works in Brighton where he co-founded Red Herring Studios in 1984. He has taught at the University of Sussex and Chichester University.Since the early 1980's he has exhibited in solo and group shows and his published work includes Art Council Essays and contributions to the "Discovering Art" series of books for children.
